The culmination of the prestigious "Japan On Canvas 2024" national painting competition was marked by a grand Award Ceremony held on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Rishihood University, Sonipat. This ceremony served as a platform to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the young artists and recognize their remarkable talent.

Experience Japan successfully conducted a comprehensive Japanese Language training session for the employees of Hayakawa Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The session was expertly led by Mr. Jitender Mehta, a seasoned language instructor.

The exhibition was inaugurated on November 23, 2024, by esteemed guests Ms. Maho Hakamata (3rd Secretary - Embassy of Japan) and Mr. Koji Sato (Director General - Japan Foundation) at the prestigious Japan Foundation, New Delhi.

Introduction: The “Japan On Canvas 2024” Painting Exhibition, organized by ‘Experience Japan’, was inaugurated on 11 October 2024 by Rajan Shripad Fulari, Dean of the School of Visual Art at the World University of Design. The event was graced by several distinguished guests and invitees, making it a memorable occasion.

Japan On Canvas 2024 marks the 10th consecutive year of this prestigious competition and it’s a part of the ‘Japan Month’ Celebration by ‘Embassy of Japan’, which was open to students from Grade 4 to Grade 10, held from 1 July to 30 August 2024.

‘Experience Japan’ organized the 'Chalo Japan' program - a cultural initiative by ‘Japan Foundation’ at Bright Scholars Sr. Sec. School, Sonipat, on August 8, 2024 (Thursday). The event was conducted by Ms. Chiaki Suzuki (Japanese Language Advisor - Japan Foundation) and her team.

The 'Experience Japan' initiative held a Japanese Language and Cultural Program at GIET - Sonipat, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation New Delhi. The event was a significant opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Japanese language and culture, highlighting the importance of cross-cultural communication and the prospects it holds for future careers.

Experience Japan, in collaboration with Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Sonipat, successfully conducted a short-term Japanese language course named 'SAKURA' from 8 July 2024 to 20 July 2024. The course was designed to provide students with an immersive experience in the Japanese language, offering 15 hours of intensive instruction.

'Experience Japan' successfully organized a cultural tour to the Japan Foundation New Delhi for the middle school students of 'Bright Scholars School - Sonipat'. This educational excursion was part of the Swagatam Program, aimed at providing students with a hands-on experience of Japanese culture.

The 'Experience Japan' has inaugurated a new Japanese language training batch specifically tailored for 28 students from various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This initiative began on April 1, 2024, marking a significant step in cultural and educational exchange between India and Japan.

'Experience Japan' successfully conducted an enlightening interactive session titled "Japan's Role in the Progressive India" at G.V.M. Sr. Sec. School - Sonipat, on 7th February 2024. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from students and insightful discussions, reflecting the growing interest in the symbiotic relationship between Japan and India.

108 Students and 10 Teachers availed the opportunity and visited the exhibition gallery on 31 January 2024 (Wednesday).

58 Students and 3 Teachers of Sunrise International School availed the opportunity and visited the exhibition gallery on 30 January 2024 (Tuesday).

25 Students and 2 Teachers along with the Principal - Dr. Meenu of GVM B.Ed. College Sonipat availed the opportunity and visited the exhibition gallery on 30 January 2024 (Tuesday).

52 Students and 3 Teachers of DAV Police Public School Sonipat availed the opportunity and visited the exhibition gallery on 29 January 2024 (Monday).

Experience Japan conducted a “Career Counselling Session” for the Students of Grade 9 - Grade 12 of Sunrise International School - Sonipat on 25 January 2024 at their premises.

The First Exhibition of the Top 32 artworks, we shortlisted out of 1651 entries under Japan On Canvas 2023, inaugurated by Mr. Koji Sato (Director General - Japan Foundation, New Delhi) on 23 January 2024 (Tuesday) with a ribbon cutting followed by Lamp Lighting by Dr. Neena Zutshi (Dean Academics - WUD, Mr. Rajan Shripad Fulari - Dean - School of Visual Arts, Mr. Rakesh Sharma (CBSE Subject Expert - Mathematics, Sai Rattan Rajesh Sharma - Artist (Jury - JOC 2023).

Experience Japan conducted a “Language Awareness Program” for the Teachers of Sunrise International School - Sonipat on 9 January 2024 (Tuesday).
The objective of this program was to spread awareness about the future aspects/benefits of learning a foreign language and motivate teachers to spread the word among their students to learn the Japanese language.

Experience Japan conducted the 9th National Level Painting Competition named "Japan On Canvas 2023" for the primary, middle and high school students. We received 1651 entries in total to participate in this competition. Result of the event was announced on 31st Dec 2023.
