Experience Japan organized a Painting Exhibition at DPS Mathura Road – New Delhi on the occasion of ‘NIHON NO KAORI – The Japan Day’ on November 28th, 2015.
The Festival being organized by DPS Mathura Road, in the presence of Mr. Daisuke Kodama (First Secretary – Embassy of Japan), Mr. Kauro Miyamoto (Director General – Japan Foundation), Professor Ashok Chawla (Chief Scientist – NISCIAR), Ms. Renu Mittal (Director – DPS Society), Mr. Indrajeet Seth (Chairmarn – DPS Mathura Road), Mr. PC Rawal (Vice Chairman – DPS Mathura Road) and Mr. Manohar Lal (Principal – DPS Mathura Road)
This exhibition is the collection of top 30 paintings, shortlisted by EJ’s jury from 1382 entries received from various schools across the INDIA. All the paintings showxasing the culture of Japan and India and existence of Buddhism in Japan.
The objective of this exhibition was to make people aware about Japanese culture and to encourage people to have a wider perspective of the culture of Japan.
