'Chalo Japan' Program at Bright Scholars School Report

Event Overview:

‘Experience Japan’ organized the 'Chalo Japan' program - a cultural initiative by ‘Japan Foundation’ at Bright Scholars Sr. Sec. School, Sonipat, on August 8, 2024 (Thursday). The event was conducted by Ms. Chiaki Suzuki (Japanese Language Advisor - Japan Foundation) and her team.

Attendance and Participation:

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 75 middle school students who seized the opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and language.

 

Inauguration Ceremony:

The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the bright future of cultural exchange and understanding. This auspicious beginning was further celebrated with a captivating dance and song performance by the talented students of Bright Scholars.

 

Educational Sessions:

The first session, led by Ms. Suzuki and team, engaged the students in an interactive quiz, enriching their knowledge about Japan's rich heritage and contemporary society.

 

In the second session, Ms. Suzuki introduced the basics of the Japanese language, fostering a foundational understanding among the students.

The program's success is attributed to the visionary leadership of Dr. Kiran Dalal, Principal of Bright Scholars School, whose commitment to educational diversity is commendable. Special recognition is also due to Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Director of Operations at Bright Scholars School, whose strategic insights were instrumental in the program's execution.
